TRAEGER WEEKNIGHT PORK CHOPS

Four ingredients and 30 minutes are all you need to get these weeknight pork chops on the table. We all need recipe shortcuts in that don't skimp out on flavor, and Traeger's Carolina-inspired Liquid Gold BBQ sauce is your new secret weapon--a punch of mustard, a hit of apple cider vinegar, and a perfectly balanced collection of seasonings combined to complement these chops and other proteins perfectly.

INGREDIENTS

4 boneless thick-cut pork chops (about 8 oz each)
2 Teaspoon kosher salt
1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 Cup Traeger Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce

STEPS

When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 375°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Pat the chops very dry with a paper towel. Season on all sides with salt and pepper.

Insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of a pork chop. Place the chops directly on the lowest grill grate. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 110°F, 12-15 minutes. Flip the chops and brush the top and sides with the Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce. Close the lid and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 135°F, 8-10 minutes more. Flip the chops once more, brush the top and sides with more Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce, and grill until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, another 5-7 minutes.

Remove the pork chops from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
