If you'd like to be notified before a belt, pulley or other "out-of-package" work is done please don't hesitate to let us know. We're happy to accommodate this!
3. Hydraulic Service (Additional Charge):
For an all in maintenance experience, we offer hydraulic service at an additional charge. M&D offers a convenient pickup and delivery service for your riding mower. We know hauling your mower to our shop can be a hassle, so we'll handle the transportation for you. However, this service comes with associated costs that we want to be transparent about.
Why do we charge a fee?
Operating a pickup and delivery service involves significant expenses:
- Fuel Costs: Our trucks consume fuel, and gas prices fluctuate.
- Labor Costs: We employ drivers to operate these trucks and their time is valuable.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and repairs, is essential.
- Insurance: We carry insurance to cover potential accidents and damages.
Here's a breakdown of our pricing:
Local Pickup and Delivery: For customers within 5 miles of one of our shops, we charge a flat fee of $25.
For locations beyond 5 miles, we add $2 per mile to the base fee.
This lower rate applies when we're already planning a trip to your area, allowing us to combine multiple deliveries and reduce costs.
Rush Pickup and Delivery: If you need immediate service, we offer a faster, more direct delivery.
This service costs $25 plus $3.50 per mile after the initial 5 miles. Please understand:
While we strive to keep costs low, the nature of this service means we often break even or even operate at a slight loss. We offer this service as a convenience to our customers and appreciate your understanding of the associated costs.
