BROWN SUGAR AND BACON WRAPPED LIL SMOKIES

3 simple ingredients come together for a triple threat of flavor. These bite-sized appetizers packs a sweet and salty punch you won’t be able to get enough of.

INGREDIENTS
1 Pound bacon
1 (14 oz) package of cocktail sausages
1/2 Cup brown sugar
STEPS
1. Lay the bacon strips on a clean, flat surface and roll out with a rolling pin until they are a bit longer with even thickness. Cut each strip in half crosswise.
2. Wrap a half-strip of bacon around each cocktail sausage and secure with a toothpick. Arrange the bacon-wrapped sausages in a casserole dish in a single layer and cover with the brown sugar. Transfer to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3. When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 350°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4 . Arrange the sausages on the prepared baking sheet, then place the pan directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook until the bacon is crispy, 25-30 minutes.
Serve warm. Enjoy!
