Traeger BBQ Chicken Legs

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this BBQ chicken recipe. Smoke and sauce bring out the flavor of these legs, making for an easy meal for any night of the week.
Ingredients
main
8 Whole Chicken Drumsticks
2 Tablespoon Traeger Chicken Rub
1 Cup Traeger Apricot BBQ Sauce
1 Cup Traeger 'Que BBQ Sauce
1 Cup Apple Jelly
Steps
When ready to cook, set the temperature to 180℉ and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.
Pat the drumsticks dry with a paper towel. Season generously with Traeger Chicken Rub.
Insert the probe into the thickest part of a drumstick, avoiding the bone. Set the drumsticks directly on the grill grates, close the lid, and smoke for 30 minutes.
Increase the grill temperature to 350°F and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
While the drumsticks are cooking, combine the Traeger Apricot and Traeger 'Que BBQ sauces and the apple jelly in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then set aside until ready to use.
Brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken. Cook for another 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the drumsticks reaches 165°F.
Remove the drumsticks from the grill and serve. Enjoy!
