​​Realizing how many acres you are taking care of is one of the first steps in selecting the right piece of equipment. If only an acre is needed to be cut, why would you buy a commercial mower that is more than qualified. A great thing about BigDog is they have the right machine for any job.

​The BigDog BlackJack, Rex, and Rex MP are perfect when looking for a mower that will take care of something for an acre or less. When needing something for up to 3 acres, The Alpha and Stout will be the right choice. Let's say you have quite a bit of grass to cut that's about 5 acres and really want something that you confidently know will knock it out with no issues, well that is when you turn to the Alpha MP and the Alpha MPX.

​​if you are searching for something that has more capability of getting more than 5 acres cut, there are many options that BigDog offers in the commercial category. The Diablo, Diablo MP, and Stout MP are the options that are available for riding commercial mowers. The Hike and Trooper are mowers that have a standing platform on the end of the machine that offers a comfortable ride. They are just as easy to run as the traditional zero-turn mowers and can do just as much!

Bigdog has sadly been discontinued. Hustler is now the only mower produced by EXCEl industries.
